Our Mission and Theory of Change
The Cromwell Center for Disabilities Awareness was founded in 2003. Our mission is to help ensure that people with all kinds of disabilities - learning, behavioral and emotional, developmental, and physical - receive the same respect, acceptance, and opportunity that every person deserves as a birthright.
The Center is an innovative leader in disability awareness education in schools, workplaces, and for educators. All programs use our unique Cromwell Method. We attack the core of the problem. We change attitudes. The target population is people without disabilities; the ultimate beneficiaries are all people, with and without disabilities.
"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." Winston Churchill |
