The Center has received generous funding from individuals, private and corporate foundations, the federal and state government, and business entities. We are deeply indebted for this support, which has fostered the growth and quality of the Center's disability awareness programs and operations. Quite simply, these grantors -- small and large -- are entirely responsible for our ability to satisfy very real community needs and to better the lives of people with all kinds of disabilities.
Included in this list are book publishers who, by providing liberal discounts, allow us to present schools with quality, age-appropriate books about children with disabilities (18 kb pdf file) as part of our Student Disabilities Awareness Program. The Center's extensive Library Collections Program in Maine and Massachusetts has also been made possible by the generosity of these publishers (indicated in blue below).Corporate, Foundation and Government Supporters

2010-11 Annual Campaign:
The Center's Board of Directors closed the 2010-11 Annual Campaign at the end of March with the announcement of two significant accomplishments. First, the $5,000 matching challenge mounted by Joe and Deborah Bornstein and the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein was successful many times over. Due to the Bornsteins' vision and generosity, the Center has 23 new individual donors, and dozens more repeat donors who reached deeper and gave more than last year. Second, the Campaign exceeded last year's total, topping out at $33,000. We have a strong donor base that is growing steadily.
Our heartfelt thanks to all of you, individuals and businesses, who gave so generously to the 2010 Annual Campaign. You are helping us change attitudes and improve the education and lives of thousands of students with and without disabilities.
